About Me
Originally from Yorkshire I moved to Bristol in 1985 and having completed a Foundation Art Course in the city I went on to study Graphic Design at Salisbury Collage Of Art. I’ve worked for design agencies in the Bristol area and became Creative Director in a large Bristol agency in 1997. Since 2007 I’ve run my own agency, Frank Brands, specialising mainly in packaging design for many National and International household names.
As for my paintings I work in watercolours and have developed a strong recognisable style with the main focus of my work being urban and rural landscapes from the Bristol area with a few from travels over the years thrown in.
I’ve completed many commissions so if you have a favourite scene you want capturing please get in touch via my email.
I’m Vice Chairman of the West Bristol Arts Trail which takes place every October in Clifton, Bristol. I’m also a member of the organising committee for the BS9 Arts Trail which is every June in Stoke Bishop in Bristol.
